Pan-Frying
Beef Link Sausage
Summary: Beef sausage links are quick and easy to cook. No matter the flavor, they are exquisite on or off the bun and topped with a little bit of spicy brown mustard. For a side? I can’t help but recommend a bit of vinegar-based cabbage salad. That might be the Polish heritage, though.
Equipment:
-
Cast Iron Skillet / Heavy frying pan
-
(Recommended) Instant-read Thermometer
Ingredients:
-
1 pck Master Blend Beef Sausage Links (~ 1 lb / 4-5 sausages)
-
2 tbsp Avocado OR Olive Oil
Directions:
-
Preheat pan on medium-high heat for about 5 minutes or, in the case of a cast iron skillet, until it just begins to smoke.
-
Pour preferred oil into the pan, and then place the sausages in the pan.
-
Cook the sausages for about 4 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 155 F. Tip: If using a thermometer, do your best to stab the sausage in the same place each time. This will prevent a loss of juiciness.
-
Allow the sausages to rest for 5 minutes; this allows juices to redistribute evenly and the temperature to rise of 160 F.
-
Enjoy!
